In this project, NEDO will provide consistent support for the development and demonstration of technology necessary for building a value chain for biomanufacturing, including collection and conversion of unused resources into raw materials, modification technology such as microorganisms, production, separation, purification, and processing technology, and systems and standards necessary for social implementation. The technology and social systems necessary to build a value chain with diverse raw materials and diverse products as outputs will be demonstrated, and the conversion of manufacturing processes to bio-manufacturing and the social implementation of bio-manufacturing products will be promoted. Furthermore, NEDOs aim to strengthen our country's industrial competitiveness and solve social issues. Research and Development NEDO will carry out the following research and development based on the "Bio Manufacturing Revolution Promotion Project Research and Development Plan" established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
