The first steps towards a graduation thesis may begin in the first year.The two years of full-time study to gain an MA pass very quickly. I am delighted to support students as they work towards the completion of their research project. Before starting this task, I strongly recommend students to actively read around the general area they want to research. The basis of a good thesis is wide background reading, and a solid literature review based on this. From the early stage of your first year, I encourage you to talk about your ideas, and start the process of reading papers and discussing with me the possible projects for your research that could be considered. This can be a very interactive process, and I look forward to doing this with each new student.
